Once you've reach the main point of your lesson, you can add an easy and fun craft for your students, you can use it as an aid to reinforce the vocabulary you taught in class or simply make a quick review of what they already know (animals, colors, shapes).
~ Remember all this steps are for your students to make the crafts. ~
Craft 1: Easter Bunny Tic Tac Toe
Materials:
- Flat Stick (11 pieces)
- Foamy (White, Pink, Blue, Yellow, other colors you want)
- Thin lace or pipe cleaners
- Paint (color of your choice)
- Sequin (color of your choice)
- Glue (liquid glue)
Step 1
First you applie glue to 2 flat sticks and then you proceed to glue nine more pieces lengthwise connecting them, this way you will create the template/base. After that you paint it with a color of your choice. leave it to dry and proceed with the next step.
Step 2
Draw the egg (5) and bunny (5) shapes on the foamy and cut them piece by piece, in the case of the bunny, glue them together to create the face and draw the eyes and the mouth. For the eggs you just have to glue the sequin.
Step 3
Measure the lace to fit alongside the template and cut 4 pieces, glue them in order to create 9 squares where you will position the bunnies and eggs.
Step 4
Now your students can have fun and in the meantime you can interact with them asking while they play for the new vocabulary or things they used or recognized with this materials (colors, animals, numbers, shapes).
Craft 2: Easter Candy Holders/Boxes
Materials:
- Tiny cups / Cardboard tube roll
- Paint (White & Yellow)
